During the study, the volunteers who are considered highly stressed were asked to take dark chocolate for two weeks. The proponents concluded that 40 grams of dark chocolate a day for a stretch of two weeks can really help us control stress. The amount of the dark chocolate was enough to alter the metabolism of the subjects to help them cope with stress.
